Kris and I decided to do something a little bit different last week, considering that we had a few days off for Easter. 2 and a half years together and we've never been on holiday together! So we had a mini one, staying for a night in York.

My First Bloggerversary! (+ my first giveaway!)

When I first started counselling for my anxiety, one thing that the lady suggested to do was to get a hobby. So I did.

I originally created Laura Wardrobe March 2014, but then soon realised that my 3rd year uni dissertation was probably more important. On 27th March 2015 I published my March Favourites, and I tried to make a go of this blog properly. One year on and looking back at my posts just makes me excited to keep going!

I love this little blog of mine. It's my pet project, and I love seeing the posts grow and the story take shape. For year two I want to get into the habit of posting more, as well as having more variety. I definitely want to write more book posts!

In 2016 I've also got more into interacting with other bloggers and commenting/participating in chats. I really love it, and love feeling part of a community. I used to feel like I was writing to no-one, so having people to chat to is fab!

My Favourite Children's Books (that aren't Harry Potter!)

Children's literature makes me so happy. I spent a month last summer volunteering in the children's section of a library and loved it. I'm almost 23 and I still kind of get tempted to go into the children's bit when I'm in Waterstones. It's just so much more exciting than the 'grown up' sections!

I was a bit of a bookworm when I was a kid. When I wasn't reading Harry Potter over and over and over again, I actually picked up some other stuff!

Shop My Stash: Spring/Summer Lips

I am a bit of a lipstick hoarder, even though I don't really wear them on an everyday basis. With spring attempting to make an appearance, I thought I'd shop my stash!

Maybelline Color Tattoo collection and swatches (+ MAC Paint Pot Dupes)

I think the biggest proportion of my makeup collection is dedicated to eye products. They're spilling out of the drawer, slowly taking over my life. Perhaps most loved is my Maybelline Color Tattoos, so I thought I'd share my collection with you. I've also picked up a couple of new ones recently!
